The Little Miami Watershed Network (LMWN) recently celebrated a significant milestone – the 50th anniversary of the Little Miami River being recognized as a National Scenic River. The river is a beloved landmark, attracting visitors from all over the world, and the celebration was a testament to its enduring popularity.
People of all ages gathered to celebrate the river and learn more about its history and importance to the community. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to show their appreciation for this natural wonder.
It’s thanks to their efforts that the river remains a thriving ecosystem and a source of joy for generations to come. I left the celebration feeling inspired to do my part in preserving this national treasure.
